PWER Up! A New Era for Women in Event Rental
The Inflatable Operators Association is thrilled to announce an exciting new initiative designed to empower and connect women across the event rental industry: PWER (Professional Women in Event Rental). This new group is poised to become a vital resource for women looking to grow personally and professionally within our vibrant community.
The spark for PWER ignited recently during a productive meeting in Orlando, where IOA members and the SEC (Standards/Education/Compliance) safety committee gathered. A recommendation to establish a dedicated group for women in event rental was met with enthusiasm, and the idea quickly blossomed into reality.
We are proud to announce that Dana Hall has been appointed as the inaugural Chair of PWER. Dana’s commitment to the industry and her passion for fostering community made her the ideal candidate for this pivotal role. Further solidifying her dedication to the IOA, Dana has also been nominated and has graciously accepted a position on the IOA Board of Directors.
Meet Dana Hall: Chair of PWER Dana Hall brings over 19 years of industry experience to PWER. Alongside her husband, she co-owns several successful Southern Indiana businesses, including All Blown Up Event Rentals and The Inflatable Fun Factory, managing a team of over 70 employees. A mother of three and a dedicated community advocate, Dana has worked in every facet of the business, from operations and sales to mentoring. She co-created PWER to provide a supportive space where women can share experiences, ask questions, and lead the industry forward together.
PWER will be hosting a Women’s Breakfast on a morning during the upcoming IOA Expo, held from March 16-19. This will be a fantastic opportunity to connect, network, and learn more about how PWER can support you.
